Identity Consultancy is a privately owned and registered company that provides mental health, training and research services to Organizations and individuals. We have a highly skilled team which has in the past provided training on mental health to corporations, government departments, schools and individuals. Identity Consultancy has extensive skills in research, which encompasses all aspects of research, from designing project proposals, baseline surveys, action plans and their implementation. Our training packages are in the areas of psycho-social support, educational psychology, assertiveness and leadership. We endeavor to provide training programs that affect directly the new challenges that our country is facing.
Our extensive experience as psychologists allows us to provide a holistic approach. This means we have a genuine understanding of clients’ needs and are able to respond and initiate solutions quickly.

Meet our Lead Consultant
Prof. Herbert Zirima
Our Lead Consultant is an Associate Professor at Great Zimbabwe University, a holder of a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Educational Psychology and Dphil in Psychology. He is a State Licensed Educational Psychologist and also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). He has worked for the Schools Psychological Services and currently a senior lecturer in Psychology. His experience has been in working with children and developing educational programmes for gifted and other exceptional children.
Together with other psychologists, Prof. Zirima has designed and offered Training programmes for School leaders, Prefects and Peer Counsellors. Prof. Zirima has provided mental health promotion programmes for private and public organisations over the past ten years.
Prof Zirima is a member of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Mental Health Special Initiative for Zimbabwe for the provision of support and expert advice on mental health issues in Zimbabwe. He is also Part Time Clinical Supervisor, Childline, Zimbabwe – Provision of debriefing and psychotherapy sessions to social workers.
EXPERT MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALISTS
Identity Consultancy also have Research psychologists whom are psychologists and understand human thought and behavior. These psychologists conduct experiments in different settings as well as out in the field to examine the social professionals, who examine questions and test hypotheses by using scientific methods on the behavior of people living in a rural town. They analyze data and prepare reports to be presented professionally to program managers, administrators, and organizations. They also supervise staff and interns who are involved in treating and diagnosing mental health.
Counseling psychologists help people recognize their strengths and find resources to cope with everyday problems and adversity. They focus on interactions between people and their environment, and on educational and career development. Their work involves the use of psychological theories and research in therapeutic work to help clients with a range of difficult life issues and/or mental health conditions. Clients can include children, adults, families, couples and groups.
